The most versatile mountain 29" e-bike yet with the unique, innovative Dyname 4.0 drive system developed directly in Rocky Mountain.
Conquer places not yet known, ride longer and faster. The Rocky Mountain Instinct Powerplay offers a breathtaking torque of 108 Nm and a battery with a capacity of 720 Wh. These are the best parameters in the segment.
Because Rocky Mountain decided to create their own drive system, they didn't have to subordinate the bike design to any of the competition's solutions. They designed an uncompromising e-bike and tailored its drive system. Long years of development have brought the unrivaled powerful and smooth Dyname 4.0 drive system, which is also exceptionally compact and offers unprecedented fast charging.
The important elements of the frame are where they should be for the optimal functioning of the whole bike; not where a "boxy" drivetrain would force it. Therefore, the Instinct Powerplay maintains uncompromising riding characteristics with tuned suspension kinematics and the RIDE-4 system, which allows you to easily fine-tune the geometry and suspension with the use of ordinary Allen keys.
The Smoothlink suspension is efficient when pedaling, but still remains supple and comfortable. Because Rocky Mountain has fine-tuned each of the many suspension parameters, their bikes provide a completely unique riding experience.
Mid-Drive Slider
The Rocky Mountain Powerplay e-bikes use a slider in the middle of the drive to control the strength of the chain and direct it to the drive pinion. This is a material that should be kept clean and should be inspected and replaced as needed. It is recommended by the manufacturer that the Slider be replaced if the grooves in it are deeper than 4 mm.
Keep the chain clean and lubricated to extend the life of the slider.
