The merino wool main material has a special waffle structure that allows moisture to escape from the body while keeping you warm. A second layer of Merino fleece is placed on exposed areas such as the shoulders, chest or head to add extra protection from the wind and cold. The ubiquitous wool is a given with Ortovox - it means not only comfort, but also heat and moisture regulation, odour neutralisation and quick-drying properties. So build on layers you can rely on.
